Message: Robbers in the House of God
Text: Matthew 21:12
Year 2017 is the year of
judgment that God is visiting His temple to root out everything that pollutes
and defiles the temple. Those who cannot repent and are glued to sin will be
judged.
Many of the ancient
landmarks in Christianity are being removed as many false and unbalanced
biblical teachings are rampant. The Christian church is being notoriously
referred to as a business center set up to make money. There is an exaggerated
teaching on grace that has turned it to lasciviousness and a license to
immorality.
Some are now saying that
hell is a cock and bull story. Many pastors are divorcing their wives and are
remarrying church brethren and yet the members sit there unperturbed. Many are
into sexual perversions and are celebrating it openly without any sense of
shame.
The temple of God is fast becoming
an unsafe haven for the righteous as robbers and occultists have invaded the
church and taken over the pulpit. Many church goers are involved in secret and
terrible nocturnal activities.
This year, the Lord will
drive out the buyers and sellers in the temple who are quenching the fire of
God in the temple. When satanic agents find the temple a comfortable place,
there is a cause for concern whereby internal purging and a spiritual
sanitation has to be effected.
In Matthew 21:12, Jesus
saw a congregation of robbers in the temple which is an awful description of
the Last Day Church. There are robbers dressed in sanctuary clothing. Pastors
sleep with women who come for counseling. Many pastors steal church money and
members come to church in transparent dresses. It is now becoming increasingly
difficult to differentiate between a Christian sister and a harlot in terms of
dressing.
There are many spineless
Pastors who allow any person come to church because they want to collect money
from them. Gossips and coup plotting abound in the church. Robbers and
fornicators now speak in tongues claiming to be born-again. Many robbers are
hiding in the house of God, which have not met or known the God they profess.
How many are saints (1
Corinthians 1:1-3)? How many is Spirit filled? How many are evangelists? How
about our personal lives? Is our fire still burning (Leviticus 6:13)? Do
sinners enjoy our company (Luke 6:22)?
We need to change as God
will pass through His temple this year and very soon to overthrow the vipers
and devourers hindering revival. When our internal temple is cleansed, then the
healing power of God will manifest. We need to cry to God to sanitize our heart
and chase out the traders trading in the temple of our heart.
