5 Major Attitudes That Determine Your Heights in Life

5 Major Attitudes That Determine Your Heights in Life

Your attitude represents your feelings, thoughts and mindset while your altitude represents the height you attain in life. If you want your life will show forth the wonderful graces of God, there are generally 5 major attitudes that can determine the height you attain in life and these are:

1)    Self esteem
This is the way you feel about yourself. Always think positive thoughts about yourself. Remember the Bible says in Proverbs 23:7 that ‘as a man thinks, so is he’
You are not inferior to anyone, therefore love yourself and do not condemn yourself. You are not a 2nd class citizen because every man is fearfully and wonderfully created by His Maker, God (Psalms 139:14). No two persons’ fingerprints are exactly alike and that makes you a unique and an authentic original!

You must not envy anyone because another man’s timing may not be yours. Remember that God makes all things beautiful at His own time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Therefore wait for your own time rather than envying others for their breakthroughs and achievements
You have equal rights like everyone else to live and exist. If you are patient and obedient to God, you will surely eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:18).

2)    Love
This is your attitude towards others and the ways you feel towards them. The Bible directs that we love others as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39) and to do to them what we desire that they do to us (Matthew 7:12). Therefore, hate no one and eliminate bitterness (Ephesians 4:31) because true love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
3)    Faith
This is your attitude towards God. You must believe that God has the best plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11) (3 John 2) (Isaiah 46:10). Believe what the Word of God says about you and confess them daily because confession brings about possession.

Again, remember Proverbs 23:7 that says ‘what a man thinks in his heart, so is he’. And Proverbs 18:21 says that ‘death and life are in the power of the tongue.’ What you confess will eventually come to manifestation in your life. If you confess success, you will see success and if you confess failure and defeat, you will experience failure and defeat.

4)    Hope
Hope is your attitude towards your tomorrow. Be a positive minded person and an optimist. You must reject worry because much of the things men worry about do not come happen. Worry is a killer. Problems and troubles will never cease in the lives of men (Job 14:1). Believe that the best awaits you.

Hope is the positive expectation that the best is yet to come. Always be hopeful and keep hope alive. Hope is a risk that we must run and keep hoping and never to quit.

5)    Forgiveness
This is your attitude towards your past. It is the ability to forgive yourself and others for the wrongs done to you or the mistakes you made. If you are unforgiving, you are allowing your past to afflict your future (Matthew 6:14-15).

Those who offended you in the past and whom you failed to forgive are afflicting your future unless you release them in your heart by forgiving them. Release them to God (Psalm 94:1) and move your life forward.
